I made a video for a robotics conference, but the file is much too large. It's only 2 minutes long, but in full quality, the file is 177MB, and the maximum allowed file size is 5MB. I was able to compress it to 5, but I had to set all of the settings to "lowest", and the resulting video is HORRIBLE. Yo can't even read the Title on the first few frames.

The deadline for submission is today!! What can I do!?

I was able to solve my problem by using Full Video Converter Free 9.0, which can be found here:

Full Video Converter Free 9.0

By far, the best free converter I've ever used! (and I've used dozens) Go to advanced user profiles, and play with the settings. The trick is to have a high resolution (640x480) and medium frame rate (24FPS) , but making the bit rate the smallest possible. Audio, you can compress the [bleep] out of, and it'll still sound fine, but I've found that compressing the audio doesnt save that much room. Once again, choose the lowest bit rate, while selecting a medium-high sampling rate (22 kHz).

Hope this helps you.
