Hard reset your computer and enter Safe mode with networking. (Press and tap the F8 key about every second during bootup process).
Go here and download Internet Explorer 8. Install it.
Reboot.

OK. Now you need to update Windows. Run Internet Explorer 8 and open Safety menu and click on Windows Update. Follow instructions there and update all critical components.

OK. Please wait with Windows Update.

Do the following:

  • Exit all programs, including Internet Explorer (if it is running).
  • Click Start, and then click Run. Type the following command in the Open box, and then press ENTER:

    inetcpl.cpl
  • The Internet Options dialog box appears.
  • Click the Advanced tab.
  • Under Reset Internet Explorer settings, click Reset. Then click Reset again.
  • When Internet Explorer finishes resetting the settings, click Close in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box.
  • Start Internet Explorer again.

For some reason on page 1 of this thread the links for OTL, and asw.exe, i cannot click on. Same thing as stated earlier, however i tried with the other pc, and same thing happens. So maybe its the links in IE8 or just the links.
