Hi guys,

I'm trying to build a computer but i'm not that quite an expert so i'm gathering opinions about this build.

I will be using this computer mainly for gaming, I hope these parts will work together with no issues.

the specs are;

CPU i7 2600k
Motherboard ASUS MAXIMUS IV-GENE-Z Z68
RAM 16GB DDR3 Corsair
Graphic Card 2x Nvidia GTX 590(SLI)
HDD Western Digital 1TB Black
SSD Kingston 128GB
Cooler Corsair H80
PSU ???
case ???

please feel free to recommend any part that you think it will perform better with the other specs

Thanks much
regards

Hi R0b1n86 Posted Image

Would be a great build, but expensive.

Do you have a budget set?

How did you select the components?

You will need an OS, recommend Window7 64bit.

A gaming machine will seldom use more than 8GB of RAM. 16GB would be more suitable for a workstation computer.
You should give considerable thought to the Monitor, it needs to take full advantage of such a high performance build.

I would consider using one video card to start with and if you feel the results are not up to par, then install a second one.
