With my Dell desktop with XP ... what is an easy way to determine how much of my C:\hard-drive is being consumed by my JPG images (that are stored in many separate folders)? Can I get a listing of every JPG file (*.jpg) in C:\ ?

Right click on my pictures folder click properties.
It is not connected with Memory which is either ram or virtual memory it is hard drive space.
That of course will give you the size of all folders within the My picture folder

It is now some 11 days since you asked for help.
Two replies were posted, one less than 30 minutes after you requested advice.

You have never responded..
May I ask you to do so, when you get chance.
You have quite a number of posts on this site - GeekstoGo - so I am sure you know that a response is always helpful.
Firstly it acknowledges the advice offered, which of course after asking for help is really the correct thing to do.
It also of course, if the problem has been solved, may offer valuable advice to people scanning the threads.

Thank you for co-operation in this isse.

Macboatmaster and others: Thank you all for your suggestions. I am still in the process of working through them (more late than usual because of some illness in family).
I will be reporting on how I resolve my problem when I do so. ..Batpark

Thank you and best of luck with the family situation.
In view of that, the trouble you have taken to reply is appreciated.
