Ok, let's start working on it then.

Please post me a fresh scanlog using HijackThis.

Also do this please:
Open HijackThis
Go to ‘config’
Go to ‘misc tools’
Press the button ‘open uninstall manager’
Press the button 'save list'. It will open a Notepad file. Place the content of that file here in your answer please.

You are running HijackThis from the Desktop; please create a new folder for it and move the program into the new folder.

Please read these instructions carefully. You may want to print them.
Be sure to follow ALL instructions!

***

I suggest you remove NewDotNet unless you deliberately installed it. It is extremely dubious and commercially sponsored:
· From a computer that has Internet access, click on the following link:
http://www.new.net/s...install6_76.exe.
· Download and save uninstall6_76.exe to Local Disc C
· Click on Start.
· Click on Run.
· In the Open window type, C:\uninstall6_76.exe.
· Click on the OK button.
· After removal, you may be prompted to reboot. Please reboot if not prompted.

***

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

***

download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

***

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://www.noidea.us...050515010747824
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

***

Open HijackThis
Go to ‘config’
Go to ‘misc tools’
Press the button ‘open uninstall manager’
In the list find:

Paradise Poker
PartyPoker
PokerStars
The ABI Network- A Division of Direct Revenue

Press ‘delete this entry’.
Close HijackThis.

***

Download CleanUp!.
If that doesn’t work, use this link.
Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu). Set the program up as follows:
*Click "Options..."
*Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
*Put a check next to the following:
  • Empty Recycle Bins
  • Delete Cookies
  • Delete Prefetch files
  • Scan local drives for temporary files
  • Cleanup! All Users
Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.

Once it's done, log off and log on again. This will remove files that were in use during the scan.

***

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
http://www.pchell.co.../safemode.shtml

***

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

***

Next please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check:

PartyPoker is very often in the company of this malware.

But you can keep anything you like and trust.

Please disable SpybotSD’s protection, as it may hinder the removal of the infection. You can enable it after you're clean.

Open Spybot and click on Mode and check Advanced Mode
Check yes to next window.
Click on Tools in bottom left hand corner.
Click on System Startup icon.
Uncheck Teatimer box and/or Uncheck Resident.
Click Allow Change box.
Reboot the computer.

***

This infection uses a random file name. Each time you rebooot, it changes names.
We need to kill the fill that is in the HijackThis log. I quote a part of the log. The item that needs to be killed is in red:

O3 - Toolbar: Norton AntiVirus - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\NavShExt.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lmiilef] c:\windows\system32\lnncrev.exe
O8 - Extra context menu item: E&xport to Microsoft Office Excel - res://C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\OFFICE11\EXCEL.EXE/3000

I'll make the advise based on this log. Please check the log to see if it changed names and use that filename.

***

Open HijackThis.
Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O2 - BHO: Quick! - {4E7BD74F-2B8D-469E-C0FF-FD67B79CAF2C} - C:\PROGRA~1\quickbar\quickbar.dll

O2 - BHO: SafeGuard Protect PCShield - {564FFB73-9EEF-4969-92FA-5FC4A92E2C2A} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\sfg_7051.dll

O3 - Toolbar: Quick! - {4E7BD74F-2B8D-469E-C0FF-FD67B79CAF2C} - C:\PROGRA~1\quickbar\quickbar.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lmiilef] c:\windows\system32\lnncrev.exe

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running.
Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

***

Please double-click Killbox.exe to run it.

Select "Delete on Reboot".
Place the following line (complete path) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox:
c:\windows\system32\lnncrev.exe
Put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot"
Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

***

Reboot the computer to normal mode.

Post back a fresh log using HijackThis.
