xphidden.zip to your desktop.
*Double click on the XPHidden.zip to open the file
*then double click on xphidden.reg to add the information to your registry.
*This will cause all super-hidden files and protected system files to be visible.

2. Try the search now

AHHHHH hang on, I was able to find it:

C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch contains "SVHOSTS.EXE-03F6CC1F.pf"

However, I was still not able to find msnmcgrs

I found svhosts without the hiddenxp, so i just added the hiddenxp and I am going to search for msnmsgrs again

ok I searched for both again now that i installed hiddenxp, and i can still only find SVHOSTS.EXE-03F6CC1F.pf, which is located @ C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch

Still no MSNMCGRS

Clean your Prefetch folder, please follow these instructions:

Download: CCleaner
http://www.majorgeek...wnload4191.html
http://www.ccleaner.com/
Once installed, run CCleaner click the Windows tab

Select the following:
Internet Explorer:
Temp Internet
History
Recently Typed URLs
Delete Index.dat files

System:
Empty Recycle Bin
Temporary Files
Memory Dumps
Chkdsk File Fragments
Old Prefetch Data

Next: click Options click the Settings tab
Uncheck: "Only delete files older than 48 hrs.", click Ok
Then click Run Cleaner (bottom right) then Exit (reboot)

Please show me a fresh HJT log after.

I am going to bed now.
