The Symantec removal instructions seem to bear no relation to the CP variant and there does not appear to be any alternative instructons (or tools) available.

It seems to copy a file TMPhexnumber.TMP that is invisible in the Temp directory. I used UltraWipe to delete these invisible tmp files, but the copying of them slows down the opening and closing of documents.

There appears to be Registry entries (search criteria: tmp**.tmp) in the patches area but I hesitate to delete anything until I find which file has been used at startup. Could this be Monitorstartup.exe?

Can anyone help?
