i have an XP system that i just took back to factory settings. I'm trying to install a Netgear USB wireless card and it just hangs up when I load the drivers. I get a message when I turn the system on that I'm missing the 'athcfg11.dll' file. So I can't access the internet with the XP computer currently. where do I go to replace that file?
thanks

Is it possible to connect to the Internet hard wired.
Download all updates and the Service Pack for windows (if applicable)

You may well find that this will then solve your problem

Have you viisted the Netgear site
http://support.netgear.com/app/

Download on another computer the latest driver for the USB adaptor - for XP and then install on this computer or are you using the driver that came with the adaptor on the CD.

Also try this
Start > Run: and type

regsvr32 -u athcfg11.dll click OK
regsvr32 athcfg11.dll click Ok

Use another computer and download as I said.
Please try ALL that I suggest and then repost, when if it is not solved I will of course provide further assistance.
