W7 - Desktop Icons keep getting scrambled

I have W7 Home. The problem started about a week ago. About 10% of the time I click on a Desktop Icon they move rearrange themselves. I have had the system for over a year and it has been fine until now.
At first I thought maybe I was accidentally dragging the icon, but when I deliberately drag an icon the results are different than what I am seeing.
My second thought is a virus, but MSE, SAS, and MBAM all say I don't have a virus.
Any ideas what my problem is?
