My friend wants to upgrade his EMachine EL1200 06-w's processor, but doesn't know what kind of processor he can upgrade too. I am COMPLETELY unfamiliar with AMD processors. Can someone help? All he wants to do is play StafCraft 2 on his PC.

Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 2650e / 1.6 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE
1Gb of DDR2 RAM

Upgrading that system is rather limited I am afraid and the CPU at your link will not work as it requires 65W and the maximum that the present MB can handle is 45W, I have attached a link to the MB so that you can see for yourself the CPUs that are compatible + you can also check out the upgrades details which can be found to the left of your screen;
