windows vista blue screen at startup

Secondly and most importantly please bear in mind that I cannot see your computer and the only information I have to work on is your post.

To help you - we need the make and model of the computer if it is branded - Dell HP etc.
Do you have the Vista CD
What has been tried if anything other than safe mode - for instance have you tried a chkdsk or a startup repair.
Do you have the information that was shown on the Blue Screen of Death.
Any information you can provide will increase the prospect of a successful outcome.
