My computer is on the 2nd floor connected to the router that provides wireless internet to the entire house, i have an HD receiver downstairs that only takes LAN and not wireless, so i went out and asked what can i do other than drilling holes, and people told me to get an access point. i couldn't find any that had a LAN line, so i read that i can set a router as an Access point, and i got myself an Xtech router and i was told it can be set as an access point.

my problem is that i don't know how to set it up :) and that i am really bad when it comes to networking.... my friend told me to connect the xtech to the computer and setup the wireless credentials for my main router, but i have no idea what that means

thanks in advanced
