Just wondering if anyone who uses their service knows if you can go into a local store and buy a code for it and renew it that way. If not please tell me of a quick way to renew protection.

Welcome to Geeks to Go! :)

You can only renew Norton online: http://buy.norton.co.../upgradeRenewal

However, you can buy a new version of Norton in a retail store, for often little or even less than the cost of renewing. For example Norton Antivirus 2009-2011 costs $44.99 to renew for one-year. While you can buy Norton 2012 from BestBuy for $39.99, or a 3 user pack for $59.99 (protection for 3 PCs), including a one-year subscription. Or, a Norton 2012 3 PC pack for as low as $32.74 from Amazon.

There are also very good free antivirus solutions available. We often recommend Microsoft Security Essentials combined with Internet Explorer version 9. They are very good at preventing modern malware infection.

If you suspect you're already infected, please visit our malware removal forum: http://www.geekstogo...cleaning-guide/
