Bought a kit. Mother board, works outside case, not in. All screws, and stand offs in right place. Send mother back ??, or do they have non conductive screws I can use ?? Thanks for any help. Bought this from Compusa.

If it was a board problem it would not work outside of case.
This can only be an installation and/or mounting issue inside the case.

Normally this is caused by using a case with built-in mounts as opposed to separately screwed in stand-offs, and some boards are more suspectable to this than others.
What case you do you have?

As Neil said knowing the case could help us solve the issue, but check, double check, and triple check to make sure the standoff screws are in the right spot. A misplaced screw can result in the mobo not working properly, or having power problems.
