I'm definitely no computer whiz, but as the title says I have been trying to download ShawSecure for years, and each time I have the same problem. The downloading process comes to an end when it tells me I have some left over files from my old Norton Antivirus?! BUT WHERE?! In my add/remove programs list there is something that says:"LiveReg (Symnatec Corporation" When I try to remove it something pops up saying "Symnatec LiveReg cannot be removed at this time because the following applications require this component:Norton Internet Security"

I removed it YEARS ago!! Obviously not correctly? How the [bleep] do I find it and finally get rid of it?!

Thank you if anyone can help! :)

Hello, and welcome to Geeks to go !

AppRemover is a free utility from OPSWAT that enables users to remove antivirus, antispyware and other security applications, as well as left over files remaining from incomplete uninstallations.

I would certainly try running the app remover as seen below and see if it finds any left over files.
