Hello, I'm new here. It seems this is an issue that has plagued others as well. I had the Google redirect virus, then I read from a few sources that Hitman pro took care of the issue. I ran Hitman Pro now my PC won't boot. I've been reading a few others threads and I tried a few of the steps mentioned but nothing is working so I thought I'd start from scratch and have my own thread.

I downloaded OTLPE and I have it on a bootable disc. After I brought the infected PC up from the disc it allowed me to run some scans, but my PC still reboots. I'm pretty much at a dead end and would love some help. The option of starting from scratch is something I'd like to try to avoid. I am running Vista. Thank You.

Hi. :)

My friendly advice in future do not use Hitman Pro apart from being not as effective as stated it is actually using software not legally deemed to use...

I would like for your good self to download the below please:

Avira AntiVir Rescue System

Then burn it to either a blank DVD or CD-ROM./R

After that place it in the CD/DVD drive of your infected machine and see if will boot-up correctly. If it does post back please and we can proceed from there.

Also do you have a Vista Installation DVD?:
