After using PicaView 2.0 for yrs. I started getting the IDE_ACDStd.apl unrecoverable error and it wouldn't show images.

I tried every suggestion I could find in numerous forums with no success and stumbled on a fix by myself that worked for me. I d'loaded a trial version of ACDC 5 at www.oldversion.com and installed it. I then copied the IDE_ACDStd.apl file (v1.3.6.6, 1024 kb)into my C:\Program Files\ACD Systems\PicaView\Plugins folder, rebooted the pc and all is well again.

I then remvoed ACDC 5 thru Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. Hope this helps someone who is plagued with finding a fix like I was.
