Outlook97error message

Some files seem to have corrupted and I am missing files that will allow
entrance into Outlook. Have tried reinstalling the application and repairing
the installation but that doesn't seem to work. Am unable to either
uninstall Outlook and do a clean reinstall or to repair. How can I get
the missing files back. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Problem Solved.
I am replying to my own message in order to help anyone else who might
be having similar difficulties and looks in.
I was able to solve the problem by uninstalling OFFICE suite itself, which included Word, Excel and Outlook 97. Then I was able to do a reinstall of the application and thus restored the missing or corrupted files.
