All seems to be well. I installed recovery disc. Installed the MSE ran that, nothing found. Did a few Windows updates. Gave the computer back to my daughter as it seems like everything is okay. Thank you so very much for your help. I appreciate it tremendously as I'm quite strapped for cash and could never afford what it costs around here for computer service and help. Usually I'm pretty good about the upkeep of virus software, etc for my computer but this was my ex-husband's error. Again, thank you guys all for your help. I sing your praises all the time. Thanks for your time and expertise.

Looks like all is well w/ my daughter's computer now that I got the recovery disc, etc. Did all I was told to by the other guy who was helping. Thank you for all your help and expertise, as you did most the digging and fixing. Thank you again, as I could ever afford any kind of local computer servicing around here. I always look to you guys for help when I need it. Thank you for offering up your time, expertise and help. You rock beyond belief!

your welcome...
I suggest you create a limited user account for your daughter...that way she has to ask you if she wants to install anything and you could do a little research prior to installing it...as a added benefit since she uses that account if she accidentally hit a poisoned site ...it couldn't install any malware because it only has the rights she does...password protect the admin account...
