I previously had a wireline Internet connection. I have moved in with someone and I am trying to use their Internet connection through my wireless router connecting to their usb wireless network adapter. I am at a loss as to how to accomplish this.

I am connected to my Linksys router via a cable. I am running XP and she is running Vista. There is nothing wrong on her end, as I previously connected my laptop through a wireless card to her usb wireless network adapter.

Can someone please guide me through the steps that will allow me to connect?

Please ignore. I abandoned the idea. I installed a wireless network card, but unfortunately, this has its own problems which I will document in another submission.
