I do not do a lot of heavy gaming however I would like this PC to be able to withstand that possibility if I change my mind afterwards. This is my first build so any suggestions or reasonings would be very much appreciated.

Approximate Purchase Date: This week if possible

Budget Range: around $700

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country of Origin: US

Parts Preferences: Due to budget i'd like to stick to AMD. Other than that I have no preferences.

Additional Comments: I would like the computer to be relatively quiet and cool.

Processor: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16819103996
- This has already been purchased since I found a deal with it off amazon [$109.99]

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813128469[$64.63]

Memory: http://www.amazon.co...pd_bxgy_e_img_b [$46.99]
-already purchased

Graphics Card: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130625 [$137.99]
- I am open to changing this

Hard Drive: http://www.bestbuy.c...8&skuId=8490625 [$69.99]

DVD Drive : http://www.newegg.co...N82E16827106334[$17.99]

Case : http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811147153 or http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811119203[$39.99-$49.99]
- torn between cases. I like the side panel clear on the cooler master, however the challenger has amazing reviews and the top and front fans

PSU : http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817709025$39.99]

Monitor: Not sure at all, probably something on sale between 19" and 21" [$70-$100]

Keyboard: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16823839008[$46.99]

When it comes down to it, I am open to any suggestions to better improve this build with the same relative cost, or downgrade any items to help my cost while not hindering the build too much. I would like to hear opinions on the cases, a monitor, and graphics card especially.

Price total currently: $644.22-694.22

Hi Jenna and :)

It seems none of your Newegg links work.

To verify compatibility, visit your motherboard's website. From there, there should be QVLs - qualified vendors lists - that show which CPUs and RAM are compatible with that specific motherboard. You must buy a listed CPU (or in this case, verify yours is on the list) but there are too many RAM makers and models for the motherboard maker to list them all, so you must buy RAM that has the same specifications.

I don't see an OS listed. Note you cannot legally transfer Windows from an old computer to a new computer, unless it is a full "Retail" license of Windows, and most licenses are OEM licenses that came with or was bought for an a different computer.
