I did not mention surge protection.

I don't think you need an UPS but do recommend a decent surge protection unit. I bought one that came with a PC and components replacement guarantee, $50,00

I would go for the Eaton.

It is quite difficult to research them on line as the specs are hard to find.

I went into, Tandy, Dick Smiths and
local PC shop.

The Higher the joules the better. the lower the response time, the better.

It's in the specifications for it. I've seen a lot of support for APC surge protectors especially.

I think the UPS from China, Too cheap to be trusted. Without a brand name, not possible to find if it conforms to any standards.

Voltage output looks wrong for OZ.
