Assuming I'm careful, there's little risk and a decent benefit from overclocking. Do you think I have enough cooling though?

Sorry for the delay, I missed page 4.

Do you think I have enough cooling though?

Yes, I think you have enough cooling. You can set alarms for both the CPU and GPU. Mine are, 60C CPU and 80C GPU.

Benchmarking, stress testing.

You can use this site to get specific tools.

Thanks for the links!

I guess now it's time to sit back and wait until assembling-day.

I did not mention surge protection.

I don't think you need an UPS but do recommend a decent surge protection unit. I bought one that came with a PC and components replacement guarantee, $50,00

I would go for the Eaton.

It is quite difficult to research them on line as the specs are hard to find.

I went into, Tandy, Dick Smiths and
local PC shop.

The Higher the joules the better. the lower the response time, the better.

I'd really like http://www.samsclub....i_sku=sku245495 but I can't find it in any Australian stores, I've tried different variations of the name and with no luck. Do you know of anything that's the equivalent of that product?

The one I posted does have surge protection, doesn't it?

Surge Protection:
AC Power Surge Protection
All outlets
Data Line Surge Protection
For phone, fax, modem, DSL, ethernet or cable applications

It's in the specifications for it. I've seen a lot of support for APC surge protectors especially.

I think the UPS from China, Too cheap to be trusted. Without a brand name, not possible to find if it conforms to any standards.

Voltage output looks wrong for OZ.

">Output Voltage / Frequency (On utility): 120V / 50/60Hz +/- 3% m"
>Output Voltage / Frequency (On battery): 115V +/-8%, 50 or 60 Hz +/- 1hz

Much happier with that, the china product may have been OK, but not worth the risk.
