My AVG antivirus was not functioning properly I decided to delete and re-download
unfortunately a problem occurred in deleting AVG I now get an explorer.exe application
error 0xc0000005 and I have no Internet explorer when I click on the icon I am told
Internet explorer has encountered a problem and must close

Try a system restore prior to the problem. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084 Then download Fire Fox so that if you get the same error, you will have internet access (In Theory) http://www.mozilla.o...US/firefox/new/
Then uninstall avg via add remove programs. Then run the avg removal tool,found in the link below.

You may also consider switching to Avast or Mse I Prefer Avast but the choice is yours.

Hi Rockmilk

I have tried system restore but it will not change to another date
however I will run the AVG removal tool and I will consider Avast!
