YouTube videos will not play..

Hello, I am new here. I started having trouble a few days ago with YouTube. Whenever I click on a video it will bring me to the regular video screen but it will just be a black box. No loading symbol or anything. I found that I am able to watch the trailer video on the YouTube home screen though. I have tried reinstalling the latest version of Adobe Flash and I have also checked all of my firewalls. If anyone knows how to help, please respond.
