So I knew for a while I've had some kind of malware on my laptop for a while but I've been putting off removing it. I do system restores to push the clock back some but then I decided to fix it today and then the screen went black with cursor in the upper left hand corner and nothing else. No keys do anything. I reset and then hit f8 a bunch of times to get into safemode but it doesn't happen and again the black screen with cursor and whenever i press any key I get a loud beep.

Ideas?

My college laptop so it's awfully important I fix it.
