Microsoft Outlook 2010: Fixed Problem With Links Don’t Work in Email
You recieve an email in Microsoft Outlook 2010, and inside the email it has several links on it. You try to click on the link but it doesn't open up a new Windows and the link doesn't seem to work. You get an error:
AW, SNAP! Something went wrong while displaying this web page…
If you have setup your Google Chrome as a default browser then this might be the problem. You will need to set Internet Explroer as the defautl web browser. Here's how:
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Now go to Tools menu.
3. Choose the Internet Options.
4. Next click on Programs.
5. Go go Default Web Browser section and click on the Make Default button.
6. Finally click on OK.
Now before you can test out the new changes, close down Outlook and Internet Explorer. Open up Outlook and try the link again. You should see it works fine now.
