i pod wont turn on even with a charger plugged in.

hi i have a i pod that i have it plugged into a computer and it wont turn on or tell me anything, It is just a black blank lifeless screen, I want to listen to music and it wont work. what do you do? it is a i pod nano 2nd generation 2gb it won't charge turn on or go directaly to the site. please help me before i ruin it.

The iPod battery might have drained or maybe it is out of order.

It could be several things first a battery issue, a motherboard issue or a screen issue. The best bet would be to go to apple, but you probably don't have warranty on this ipod anymore. So it is really tough to say.
