Hi,
After a complete reinstall of xp, I connected my Ethernet cable into the computer and I wasn't able to get access.
There are no connections available on network places, and I have tried resolving through internet options.

Ive got another computer besides it (which im using now) and the internet is working fine.

If anyone could help would be appreciated.
Thanks

EDIT: I would like to add that its XP Home SP2 (Awaiting connection for upgrading SP)

Did you install the driver for your network card?

Click on Start then Run, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
Expand Network Adapters.
Look for any yellow flags anywhere, but especially under Network Adapters.

Try Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager and look to see if your network adapyer is installed and has an appropriate driver associated with it.

There wasn't any drivers installed for the Network, I downloaded it from the Intel site on my other computer and loaded it on the affected computer. And it worked, now im installing many updates

Thanks for you help

EDIT: Just a quick addition of the URL where i downloaded the driver (Just incase anyone has the same issue i had)
