Hi,
we have several ipods in my house, and itunes dosenīt recognize any of them.
After doing almost everything Apple suggest, nothing changes.
Cables ok. Drivers ok. Battery ok. Reisntalation of itunes ok (3 or 4 times)..

This hint may be useful:
After unistalling Itunes, I connect it via the USB cable and win xp did recongize it. With the correct name and drive letter to. (i did it wuith 3 different ipods).
Then , with itunes installed, it didint recognize it. Win xp dosenīt either.

Oh, also the ipods work perfect in any other PC /itunes of my office, so isnīt a hardware failure.

I have win xp with service pack 3.
Last itunes version.

Thank you for your help.

Hello and Welcome to Geeks to go!

The problem here could be that iTunes only recognises the iPod in which it was synced with.

For example, the iPods you have were probably synchronised with another iTunes on a different computer.

Hope This Helps.
