I dont know what happens as my PC is on all the time but sometimes when i get in from work i have a blue screen.

MBAM is up to date & im running Avast (free version) which is up to date as well, neither finds any virus's or malware so i dont know what to do. I'm running Win 7

Are there any checks i can do?

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section as i don't know if its a hardware or software fault
