Well I am replacing the PSU regardless. It shorts out independent of the OS and HDD I am using. Since getting the new HDD it is the only part of my computer I have yet to replace.

Thank you for all the assistance.

Edit: When I try to like any of the posts in this thread that were helpful to me it says "action done Failed"...
