Hello, i have a toshiba window xp, but my dad had to reformat it for me. After he reformated it my sound on both the speackers and headphones will not work. A msg keeps poping up that says " There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly." I dont know what to do, i need sound! please help!

Go to the Toshiba website and with your model number of your computer (probably a laptop) find the download drivers page for your model and according to your OS (XP, Vista or 7)download the driver for your soundcard.

Hope that helps
