Hi!

A few days ago I had an Avast alert blocking some rookit/malware and the next day I found out I had not internet, no firewall, no windows defender, no printer and Avast displaying the Error 10050

I’ve run a series of cleaning programs and have deleted several infected files and I seem to be clean (re checked and tripled checked to be sure) but I still have the problem of having no internet, no windows defender (error 0x80070424), Avast with error 10050, no printer and I had no windows firewall but I was successfully able to recover it (seems the malware messed up the registry and that causing problems with the programs and services I mentioned)

I would really appreciate the help recovering/fixing this programs and services

You have to post this with details in the malware forum. Not here of course. It is possible that you are attacked with Malware.

I suspect that you have some malware on your computer causing issues that we are not able to solve through means we can use here in the Tech Forums. I suggest you read the 'Start Here' topic found HERE. With these self-help tools you have a high chance of fixing the problems on your own. If you are still having problems after following Step 3 of the guide, continue with Step 4 and 5 and post in the Malware Forum. If you are unable to run any programs, Please create a topic stating what you have tried so far and that you are unable to run any programs. Also, Please do NOT post the logs in this thread.

If you are still having issues after the malware expert gives you a clean bill of health, Please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
