I have not been able to open MS office programs; word, excel, pwrpt, pic gal, etc. I ran a SFC.exe scan the scan said "windows reasource protection found corrupt files found but was unable to fix some of them" I started going through the CBS.log and can't find anything that would tell me which files couldn't be fixed. I have the log saved to my desk top. I keep having this problem with WS office, the error always says "The aplication failed to start because of it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect. please see the application event log for more details." In my CBS log i have found quite a few "rename" issues that it fixed but other then that i don't see anything that says corrupt or missing etc. I am running windows vista home premium edition 32-bit with SP2 loaded. Everything i have done this far is as computer savy as i can do. thanks for any help you can give me
