[Sode no Shirayuki]

I restarted the computer with the 1280 x 1024 res. and the lines returned. If I switch to another res. then back to 1280 x 1024 the lines return. I restarted the computer with a different res. and the lines did not return.

For some reason:

- The lines only appear when using 1280 x 1024 res.
- The lines go away if I switch to another res. then back to 1280 x 1024 res. until I restart the computer.

Yep they may know of some issue that they can help fix. It sure seems like a glitch when loading the driver in lower resolutions. Did the lines come back after you rebooted with the higher resolutions?

Only 1280 x 1024 res. That's the highest res.

Edit: I'm going to test it again to be absolutely sure.

Yeah, it seems to be happening only when using the 1280 x 1024 res. When I click on icons, more lines appear.

Yeah it sounds like either the driver or there may be a issue with the actual video chipset itself.

Hm, I'm not sure how I should contact Dell about this since my warranty is no longer valid. I think I'll post on NVIDIA's forum and see if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Yeah if your warranty is gone then you would have to pay to talk to them now. Posting on Nvidia's site sounds better.
As I said before the other option is to purchase a newer video card with newer drivers and see if that resolves the issue completely.
