Hi,

I have a major problem. I recently formatted C: loaded Windows XP, and found that XP regonized my 200GiB drive, but it will not let me access it. When I go to click the drive it says

"The Disk In Drive E: Is Not Formatted.
Do You Want To Format It Now
YES NO"

I can't format it because it has all my stuff on this drive. and was set as FAT32, on this very same system.

I can retreive it, by loading Win98se. Win98se sees it fine, and left it the way it was. But XP won't.

Things I've tried.

1. Unhooked the 200GiB e: drive, formatted c: loaded XP, loaded Important drivers, loaded SP1. Turned machine off, hooked the 200GiB back up. Didn't work.

2. Unhooked the 200GiB e: drive, formatted c: loaded XP, loaded Important drivers, loaded SP1+SP2. Turned machine off, hooked the 200GiB back up. Didn't work.

3. Asked various people that said, scan disk and defrag..didn't work.

If anyone could give me a sure way of making XP show my drive as I left it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you..
