My computer seems to have some spyware etc on it that both adaware and spybot can't find. I was wondering if anyone could see the problem?

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure. Please move Hijack This to a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

You're right, there is some spyware hidden in your system. Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu). Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Pribi\ <- Folder
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard\status.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe
C:\documents and settings\ashley mantle\local settings\temp\ruA.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\aubdid.exe

Next, please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

O1 - Hosts: 64.91.255.87 www.dcsresearch.com
O2 - BHO: G1.GZ - {79C03BC5-6C55-4B5B-921F-C02B6F1ABD7B} - C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\Pribi\Pribi.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nwiz] nwiz.exe /install
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Supastatus] C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard\status.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ruA] C:\documents and settings\ashley mantle\local settings\temp\ruA.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lmnhwau] C:\WINDOWS\System32\aubdid.exe
O4 - Global Startup: RF Keyboard&Mouse Program.lnk = ?
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
O14 - IERESET.INF: START_PAGE_URL=http://www.timesupport.com

If you do not want the quicktime tray icon, fix this one too:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log, and let us know how your system's working. <_<

Thanks alot the other side, I have now removed all the spyware. I knew there was something there but didn't have a clue what to look for. Thanks for the help. My computer seems to be running alot better but after using xoftspy to scan my system it looks like there is a lot of malware etc in my registry which I'll still have to get rid of.
Anyway here's my HijackThis log:

Congratulations! Your system is CLEAN <_<

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use).

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.
Link to SpywareBlaster: http://www.geekstogo...tion=show&id=12

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

These next two steps are optional, but will provide the greatest protection.
1. Use ANY browser besides Internet Explorer, almost every exploit is crafted to take advantage of an IE weakness. We usually recommend Firefox.
2. Install Sun's Java. It's much more secure than Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine .

It's okay to delete the Hijack This folder if everything is working okay.

After doing all these, your system will be thoroughly protected from future threats. :D
