I reinstalled windows on 24 December, but still the hang, and before you say it I know my computer is old but I play WOW on it and it works fine . ;-)

1. How long have you had this problem please?
2. Are you able to connect that time with the install of any new programs?
3. You have Microsoft Security Essentials and IOBit programs installed.
You cannot run both - they will very likely conflict and may well result in less protection than you would receive from ONE.
YOU SHOULD NEVER run in real time more than ONE antivirus program.
4. My recommendation is to uninstall ALL of IOBit installations particularly the advanced system care.
It basically provides an automated way of carrying out functions which you should do anyway such as disckcleanup, diskdefrag, browser history clean up etc. HOWEVER it provides the addition of a registry cleaner and so called registry optimizer. These programs, generally speaking should NOT be installed on any computer. They provide very little benefit, with the potential to ruin your system.
In relation especially to IOBit software THIS from their website says all - they now offer free GAME BOOSTER SOFTWARE
Designed for higher FPS and less lags!
Game Booster 3 is capable of delivering the best gaming experience to you even if you have an old PC. One-click to boost PC performance is not enough, Game Booster 3 also allows you to tweak your system for top PC performance. By temporarily shutting background processes and unnecessary Windows services, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance, Game Booster 3 concentrates every little system resource for gaming only.
It is a GIMMICK, there is no other way to describe it. If the computer does not have a sufficiently fast processor, sufficient ram and adequate graphics - then there is NO such tweak that can make it so.
I have not examined the so called Game Booster software, but IF it has the capability to alter ram voltages, timings and other such procedures to OVERCLOCK then it is, in my opinion dangerous to the health of the computer.
IOBits software does not generally speaking have a good reputation.
