Was using PC tools Registry Mechanic (version 10 I believe) and doing what was to be a bleach of previously deleted material sectors. I'm not a giant teckie by any means, but have always done fairly well dealing with my comp issues. Anyways, when I rebooted after the bleach, it brought up a bluescreen listing sector numbers and going through them. Each sector took 1-2 seconds for it to go through and I left it go for close to 8 hours...When we got home I couldn't believe it could still be running through that and I hit the reset on the tower. Now my ENTIRE D drive seems to have vanished! Can anyone tell me if there is any chance to recover this? I am a Guitar player and had quite a bit of recorded original material on that drive (that I was planning to back up quite soon believe it or not) that I won't be able to remember it all and can't replace!!! Please Help! What do you need to know, and where do I go to give you the info that you require?
