Malware scan and removal

Toshiba laptop running Vista

Was wanting to scan for spyware but, getting error from malware bytes will not update.

Came here and run OTL for log: see attached

machine running fairly clean lots of front end from bootup

running IE latest browser when scrolling or using arrow keys to move on page movement skips or jumps

just trying to run current spyware to remove any unwanteds
