I am a true computer novice, so, here are the system specs.

Hp a708n w/18.5 lcd
Intel celeron 330 2.66 ghz
533 mhz front side bus
Socket mpga478
Motherboard ms6577 version 4
512 mbs ram
80 gbs hd 7200 rpm
Video graphics up to 64 mb shared memory for video.

No os $25 xp home edition installed
$65 for complete system wireless keyboard, mouse + os install grand total $90

Store techie says it will run sims 2 fine after os install, but after this week of seller scams. I am reluctant. Not ebay, this is a local store new year's sale.

Will this run sims 2 + 5 expansions possibly sims 3, gta eflc
Also, can the graphics card be upgraded to run more modern games? Or even better processor maybe dual core?
As always your advice/help is sincerely appreciated. Many thanks.

Gday Torquer ,

I do not think it is up to the specs for Sims 3, here are the min requirements.

https://help.ea.com/...-for-the-sims-3

I would print the page, take it into the techo, and with another person present to act as witness, get him to confirm it meets the system requirements.
