I need Help with my PVR unit

I have a HD PVR soniq T1000-au unit.

I want to know how to transfer recorded files on the PVR to my computer.
My HD PVR is now full but I don't want to delete anything. I wish to keep all the files.

I have rung soniq they told me it can't be done, it was never meant to do that. I've tried putting files to the USB stick but then the PC can't open the file.

I have searched the web for some sort of software, Nothing.

I got cables from PVR to PC doesn't work.
Surely there must be a way.

Can anyone help me with this problem.

How do I transfer files from the soniq PVR unit to my PC.??
