I have been unable to ever connect to the Itunes store with my new HP laptop. I am using Windows 7. I have removed and re-installed numerous times. I have made sure that Itunes is accepted by my firewall. When attempting to connect to the store, I don't get an error message. The screen simply remains white with only "Itunes Store" shown in the middle of the screen. Following is the report from the diagnostics. The diagnostics show that I am not logged on as administrator, however, when checking, I am indeed signed in as administrator. Please HELP!!!!

Just to verify what user rights you have. Please go to Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts. When you click on user accounts, on the right hand pane it will tell you your user account and rights (standard user or administrator).

Type cmd in the Start Search box above the Start Orb. When cmd.exe appears at the top of the Start Menu, right click on it and select "Run as Administrator"
(elevated command prompt).

Type:

regsvr32 vbscript.dll
(note the space between 32 and vb)

and press Enter. Then try installing iTunes again.
