Hi, so i have this 2tb verbatim external harddrive. i've had it for about a week and now all of the sudden it wont show up in my computer. I checked it in disk management and this is what i found out.

I have to initialize the disk to be able to do anything and when i try to initialize it says "the device is no ready". I'd like to know how exactly i do to initialize the disk.

And when i go to device manager and then disk drives it says the disk is called "USB device" and nothing else.

Please i need help and i would love any kind of help.
