Go to Motherboard Layout.

#22, PCI Express x16 Slot (PCIE2) This is where you would install your new video card.
Your video card will have 1 or 2 sockets at one end, (depends on the power required by the card) This is where you plug in a cable DIRECTLY from the Power Supply.

There is no power cable from the video card to the Motherboard.

#4, ATX Power Connector (ATXPWR1) 24 pin main power connector.


#24, ATX 12V Power Connector (ATX12V1) 4 pin power connector from the power supply. (not used for video)

The adaptor cable would not be needed with a new PSU.

The AMD HD6850 is way beyond my budget I may have to go for a GF GT 430, 2GB Gigabyte , the card have Power requirement 400W My PSU have 550W and this one doesn’t need a 6 pin external power supply cable .

The card is powered by the PCI-e slot so there is no need for any external power:

Hi again , all the upgrades are running perfect .

There is just one new question , i am looking to put 1 more memory stick , my current status is that i have 1 stick of 1 GB RAM and 1 stick of 2 GB RAM . I want to change the 1GB with 2GB stick will the mother board be able to work with it ?

If your OS is not 64 bit version it isn't going to utilize all 4 gigs.
