missing exe files

i have a huge problem i cant run my calculator, spider solitaire, nothing i tried to re store but file cant be found no files can be found please i need some to fix this please i need msn and skype to talk to my children in australia plus my grand baby

Sounds like the default action for executables (.exe) is messed up.

See here: Restore Default Windows 7 File Extension Type Associations

Directions on what to do are at the top of that page. You want the exe one.
