Hi folks,
Need some help.
I have a compaq presario laptop (no s[bleep]ing please)and a HD ready TV.
I also have a HDMI cable with male connectors either end.
However, I need something that will connect the HDMI cable to the laptop.
I presume it is a USB type adaptor.
Is the cable I need similar to the HDMI mini port which connects to a Mac, would this Mac cable even work for a regular laptop?
Can anyone recommend where I could buy such a connector.

There are a few ways of connecting

1. S-Video
2 VGA ports
3 DVI to HDMI

VGA or DVI to HDMI are the best ways with quality, i use both of these methods. Amazon - ebay - local pc shops will all sell the above cables.
