CD Burn

I was able to burn audio CDs with no problem until about a month ago. Now, the burning process goes no farther than 68%. There is no error message, the progress just stops there even if I let it run 15, 30 even 40 mins. I can't even abort at that point. I have to do a hard re-boot in order to remove the uncompleted disc. OS is Vista Home Premium, using Nero 7 Home Essentials. System is 2 yrs old and I've had no problems with burning until now.
