My digital camera doesn't wotk with new system

It worked fine on my old computer running Windows XP, but now I have Windows 7. I installed the Kodak Easy Share software from the disk that came with the camera. It installed, but when I tried to download some photos by connecting the camera to the computer with a USB connector and turned on the camera, nothing happened. Whan can I do now?
