does reatogo work with Vista? Or is this good only on xp? I am getting just a blank blue screen after running twice and the second time let it sit all night.

The disc does not care what operating system you have

Are you able to load the CD to the reatogo desktop ?

When it boots from the CD you should see various files and bits and bobs loading

I get solid blue screen with nothing on it. It's not loading. Does that mean the hard drive is a gonner?

Methinks it does as Reatogo does look for a hard drive

last time we tried reatogo it didn't find it. my only other hope at this point is to get my HP Media smart successfully recovered so i can at least retrieve documents from back ups before 12/19.
